Non-Monash University students – Cross Institutional Application
(For applicants who are enrolled in other university/institution) * Non-Malaysians student will require a student pass/visa to study in Malaysia. Enrolment for summer is subjected to obtaining approval for student pass/visa. Students are required to attach the following to facilitate the application for student pass/visa. a) 3 full and clear copies of ALL pages of passport (including empty pages) b) 6 passport-size colour photograph
Closing date for non - Monash University students: 19th September 2008 (Non-Malaysians) 14th November 2008 (Malaysians)
If you are a student at another university/institution, you may apply to study unit(s) at Monash University, Sunway campus Step 1: Obtain approval from your home university/institute for the unit(s) you wish to enrol at Monash University, Sunway campus. Step 2: Complete the Cross Institutional Application Form (Summer) Step 3: Send the “Cross Institutional Application Form (Summer)” and the relevant documents to the address as stated on the form. Step 4: Monash University, Sunway campus will inform the student (via e-mail) if the enrolment for the unit is already full. The student will be placed on a “waiting list”. If application is successful, information on fees will be enclosed in the Summer offer letter. DISCONTINUATION DATESTo drop a unit, you must complete the Enrolment Amendment Form and submit it to the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Course Management Office (Psychology). Last day to discontinue a unit without academic and financial penalty: 19th December 2008. Any unit discontinued after this date will incur fee liability. Partial fees will be refunded and the unit will be shown as “Discontinued” on your academic record. Last day to discontinue a unit WITH academic and financial penalty: 24th December 2008. Any unit discontinued after this date will incur academic and financial penalty. There will be No refund of fees and the unit will be shown as “Fail” on your academic record.
UNIT CANCELLATION Every effort will be made to ensure that the unit offered will be run; however the unit may be cancelled up to one week prior to the commencement of the Summer Semester if there are insufficient enrolments or other unforeseen circumstances. If a unit is cancelled, all students enrolled will be advised in writing prior to the commencement of the Summer Semester. In addition, all students will be automatically withdrawn from that unit.
